The Consuelo was first developed for an international furniture exhibition in 2001 at which we were awarded an international design award. It quickly became our signature piece. The sides of the Consuelo are cut from single pieces of hardwood. Stainless steel yachting cable is utilised to sling the contour adapting slats for the perfect relaxing lounge chair. These design elements are in keeping with the virtually indestructable quality of Ausgum furniture.
